Hair studio — by appointment
A quiet studio for shape, colour and second-day hair.
Two chairs, one colour room and a long consultation before anything is cut or mixed. Soft Angle builds hair that still reads well three weeks later, when you are styling it yourself.
-
Cutting
Dry consultation first, then a cut shaped around how your hair actually falls — including the parts that never behave.
From £48 -
Colour
Gloss, root shadow and lived-in blonde, worked in stages so your hair keeps its condition between visits.
From £58 -
Occasion
Event and bridal styling, with the trial booked in the same chair as the day itself so nothing is a surprise.
From £70
The studio
Two chairs, a kettle, and enough time to get it right.
Soft Angle is deliberately small. One appointment at a time per stylist means we can spend the first fifteen minutes talking about your growth pattern, your morning routine and how much effort you actually want to spend before work.
We would rather talk you out of a cut than send you home with hair you cannot repeat. If a look needs three visits to reach safely, we will say so at the consultation and price it honestly.
-
Consultation, on dry hair
Fifteen unhurried minutes. We look at texture, previous colour and how your hair sits when you have done nothing to it.
-
The work
Cutting is done in sections with the chair turned away from the mirror, so the shape is checked against your head rather than the reflection.
-
The finish
We style it twice — once our way, once yours — and write down the two products used, if any.
Services & prices
Clear starting prices, quoted properly before we begin.
Every appointment includes the consultation. Colour services include the gloss or toner needed to finish them — we do not price that separately once you are in the chair.

Prices are a starting point. Dense, very long or previously coloured hair takes more product and more time, so it is quoted at your consultation — before anything is mixed or cut.
Stylists
Three people, three different pairs of hands.
You can ask for a stylist by name in the form below, or leave it to us and we will match you to whoever suits the service you have described.
-
Marlowe Quinn
Senior stylist · precision cutting
Curtain fringes, blunt bobs and grown-out shapes that keep their line for months. Happiest with a client who wants the same haircut, only better.
-
Rye Adeyemi
Colourist
Lived-in blonde, toffee root shadows and patient corrections spread across visits. Will always choose your hair's condition over a faster result.
-
Isa Beaumont
Stylist · curls & texture
Dry cutting for curls and coils, plus wash-day routines written down in plain language so they survive the trip home.
Lookbook
Recent work from the two chairs.
A small selection rather than an archive — enough to show the range of shape and tone we work in.
Colour notes
Autumn is leaning warm in the studio: toffee root shadows, soft copper drawn through the mid-lengths, and glosses topped up around every eighth week to keep tone from going flat.
If you are growing out a previous colour, bring a photo of it at its best. It tells us more than a swatch.

Before you come in
- Arrive with dry, un-styled hair for any cutting appointment — it shows us the real shape.
- All colour needs a patch test at least 48 hours ahead, so book that in first.
- Bring photos of hair you like and hair you have hated. Both are useful.
Questions
The things people ask before a first visit.
Do I need a consultation before colour?
Yes, for any first colour service with us. It is free, takes about fifteen minutes and doubles as the patch test appointment, so the two are usually booked together.
What happens at a first colour appointment?
We start from the consultation notes, mix to your hair on the day rather than to a photograph, and confirm the final price before any product goes on. Long appointments come with tea and a place to work if you need one.
Can you work with colour done somewhere else?
Almost always. Tell us roughly when it was done and what was used, if you know. If the safest route needs more than one visit, we will map it out and price each stage at the consultation.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
Reply to your confirmation email at least 24 hours ahead and we will move it to the next slot that suits you. Colour appointments hold a longer block, so earlier notice helps us offer the time to someone else.
